Art Under The Tent Welcomes Cheryl’s Fabric Garcen

Art Under The Tent at Stone Mill Hotel & Suites welcomes Cheryl Lamon of Cheryl’s Fabric Garden.  Cheryl’s specialty is handcrafted items made from fabric.  Her offerings include quilts, runners, aprons, handbags, and hats.

Some of you may know Cheryl from her last business, Cheryl’s Apparel, or from her previous business, The Treehouse.  Some of you may also know that Cheryl is Colleen Lamon’s mother, the owner of Stone Mill.  With the creation of Cheryl’s Fabric Garden, Cheryl is now able to spend most of her time on something she is passionate about.  Cheryl loves to create and sew beautiful works of art.  The picture in this post is an original design of Cheryl’s depicting the dam in Lanesboro and is hand framed in barn wood.

Cheryl will be “under the tent” from 10 am – 5 pm.  She will be offering a quilt presentation at 3 pm and will answer any questions you might have about her works of art.

Also, when you are in Lanesboro this weekend, there will be Taste of the Trail activities going on at various locations.  A complete schedule can be found at www.rootrivertrail.org.

Until next time . . .
